Artist comment

The story is about a girl named Zulfa, who is very tall, and this has caused things to happen to her.
One day she sees an advertisement for a puppet-making school and wants to go to that class, but because she is in another village and the school classes are too small for her, she cannot attend the puppet-making class.
One day, her father decides to make a mobile house for Zelfa so she can go to another village and participate in a doll-making class.

 審査員評

The textures and the restrained color palette make the illustration special and unique. The structures and shades are beautifuly balanced.

Full of fairytale-like charm, the image is also unique.

The aesthetic sense in Amir's work is wonderful. I love how despite using quite a contrasting color palette he is still able to keep a clear focus on the main elements.
The art process gives the artist the chance to overcome the constraints of his preferred medium but also gives the chance to play around with his very own and beautiful human constraints.
AI deprived us from this. Stay strong.

The illustration, the Story of a girl, is interesting and unique.
In particular, the pencil-like texture throughout the painting is impressive with a great story and shape language.

This work draws you into a mysterious world that is typical of picture books.
The use of lots of black in the illustrations does not give a dark impression, which shows the artist's good taste.
The stylishness of the illustrations, reminiscent of Scandinavian textiles, is also appealing.
