Artist's comments

A boy nicknamed “Frozen Pear” and a snow-deer named Yuki meet by chance in childhood, then lose each other—until they find one another again as grown-ups.
But Yuki can appear only in winter, and only after she has climbed mountain after mountain to release the snow, so the two may share a single day each year.
Time itself moves at different speeds for human and deer, trapping them in staggered, mismatched worlds.

「凍り梨」というあだ名の少年と、雪鹿のユキは、幼い頃に偶然出会い、その後は互いに見失い、大人になってから再び出会う。 しかし、ユキが姿を現すのは冬だけ。
しかも、雪を解かすために山を次々と登り、雪を解かした後だけ。そうすることで、二人は年にたった一日だけ、同じ時間を共有することができるのだ。
人間と鹿にとって、時間の流れはそれぞれ異なり、彼らは互いにずれた、不一致な世界に閉じ込められている。
